Teressa down there in the reviews has no tastebuds. This is some of the best Thai I’ve had in Colorado (and I’ve eaten a lot of Thai!!) If you like good Thai, this is the spot!! I wish I lived closer, I’d be here every night. Please open an Arvada location Thank you, Aung’s!!!!
A fantastic place! My partner’s favorite in town. They honor the spice level you request, and they are delightfully efficient. Great portions, flavors, and noise level (ie not glaringly loud! Wonderful). We really enjoy eating here. The fried tofu is a consistent order for us. Highly recommend.
I have tried many Thai restaurants in the Denver metro area over the years and I am so thankful to finally have found the best spot to get some amazing authentic Thai food. I've been going to Aung's for a year now and finally getting around to writing a well deserved review with some great pics. The service is always quick, welcoming and friendly. The food by far has always hit the right spot and been delicious!!! Hands down the best Thai in Denver. I've tried at least 10 different menu items and have been pleased with every one of them. The Pad Thai is my favorite with Pad Prik King being a close second. Don't pass this place up and go support a family owned authentic place to eat. Hope you enjoy their food as much as I do.
Definitely one of the best Thai spots in the Denver area! The service is fast and attentive, and the portion sizes are very generous. My go-to dishes are the basil fried rice and drunken noodles (not pictured)!
Excellent. Ordered Crispy Tofu, Pork Red Curry, and Chicken Tom Kha. Crispy Tofu was evenly crispy and bite-sized and the chili sauce w/ peanut that came with it was good. The Red Curry was great as well: pork and vegetables were perfectly tender. The highlight of the meal was the Tom Kha. This is the best Tom Kha I’ve ever tasted. The broth was a delicious blend of coconut and kroeung-like spices. The spice, saltiness, and sourness were well balanced. Will be returning to try more items on the menu.
3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐ Family owned Thai restaurant. Service is great and staff is friendly. The food in my opinion was ok. Although I do recommend you go check it out as most folks think this is the best Denver based Thai restaurant - this is only my second Thai place in Denver so I don’t have much to compare against. It doesn’t seem vegetarian or vegan friendly when it comes to appitizers but entrees seem to be ok. The Tofu Larb was decent not anything special has its cubes tofu. If you have had chicken Larb before you know traditionally it’s minced chicken but can’t be replicated for tofu. Veg spring rolls were good and crispy and will recommend. The drunken noodles and pad Thai were bland and could use some more flavor perhaps more salt and spice.
